MAM-Maestro d’Arte e Mestiere, III edition, 2020

This is the third edition of the biennial title of MAM-Maestro d'Arte e Mestiere, created by Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte in collaboration with ALMA-La Scuola Internazionale di Cucina Italiana. The aim of this initiative was to create an independent "Master of Art" title, to enhance and bring to the attention of the general public and the media the extraordinary work of some of the most significant protagonists of our craftsmanship of excellence. A tribute dedicated to the Italian Masters of Art, active in the 23 different categories of artistic craftsmanship: from ceramics to jewelry to wood and furniture, from metals to mechanics to mosaics, from leather goods to art printing to restoration, from theater to textiles to the crafts of taste and the art of hospitality. There will be 78 new Masters of Art and Crafts that will be included in the symbolic Golden Book of artisan excellence, thus enriching the list of over 150 names currently witnessing an all-Italian know-how. This year the prestigious award will have an entirely digital format and will be broadcast on the dedicated website www.maestrodartemestiere.it at 6.30 pm on 26 October. With the best wishes of Franco Cologni (president of Fondazione Cologni) and Enzo Malanca (president and CEO of Alma), also in this edition will be celebrated the many "intelligent hands" that make every district of our peninsula a precious treasure chest of beauty and craftsmanship. The video of the ceremony will be available on the site for those who can not connect on the scheduled date.
