Great success for Doppia Firma and the exhibitions of “Arts & Crafts & Design”

As many as 14,000 visitors to Villa Mozart, which, on the occasion of Design Week 2024, was transformed into the scenic setting for three initiatives on the marriage of design culture and savoir-faire, all united under the umbrella of “Arts & Crafts & Design. Doppia Firma. Dialogues between design thinking and high craftsmanship, now in its eighth edition, aimed to pay homage to 'La Grande Milano,' capital of design but also of great craftsmanship, which has its roots in the Renaissance. “Doppia Firma” has been a fixture at Fuorisalone for eight years now. Fondazione Cologni and Living, the interiors, design and lifestyle magazine of Corriere della Sera, under the patronage of the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, also in this edition presented 15 works on the ground floor of Villa Mozart that were admired by industry experts and an audience of enthusiasts. There was also great success for “Secret Garden,” the exhibition of pieces designed by Creative Academy students and made by glass master Simone Crestani, in the first-floor spaces of the Serapian showroom. The garden of Villa Mozart was embellished by “Intrecci Italiani,” a special installation of outdoor furniture by Bonacina. In the villa's 'Serapian Bespoke Atelier', moreover, master craftsmen from Serapian and Bonacina showed the public their savoir-faire of excellence in leather and wicker weaving.
