The Golinelli Arts and Sciences Center, in agreement with the University of Bologna, presents the exhibition Beyond Space, Beyond Time. The Dream of Ulisse Aldrovandi: it is not just an exhibition to celebrate the innovative work of the scientist, but an articulated research project that compares five hundred years of the history of science with modern innovations that anticipate the near future. The fulcrum of the exhibition is Ulisse Aldrovandi (1522-1605) who, consistent with Renaissance culture, interpreted natural phenomena through observation, verification and the systematic cataloguing of findings and data. He was an anticipator of the analysis of natural phenomena that, at the time, appeared fantastic and imaginary and, today, have become real.
