Lino Tagliapietra's works surprise for their beauty, for their shape, delicate and solid at the same time, for the chromatic choices that give life, in a constant renewal, to the mysterious, intriguing charm of glass. And it is this sensory involvement that is summarized in the title: Lino Tagliapietra, glass as a journey and a work of art. The exhibition at the Ca' Rezzonico Museum in Venice illustrates the inseparable sequence between the artist, the glass, the journey made, like a modern explorer, into the secrets of glass, in an agreement between the Murano tradition and the experiments learned with the American experience, up to the final work of art that expresses a creative vitality that is always capable of surprising. All of this is set in Ca' Rezzonico, a museum but above all an iconic image of Venice.
