EventsNow in its twentieth edition, the International Ceramics Fair in Florence will gather 70 potters in Piazza SS. Annunziata to exhibit their creations: all high-quality, handmade works produced in small series. An appointment for experts of the sector, as well as simple enthusiasts, to learn more about a craft boasting a long tradition, but capable of innovation, always finding new and contemporary solutions. The aim of the event is to promote the knowledge, appreciation and valorization of the high quality ceramic art practiced in Italy today, as well as to protect and unite artists and artisans. The event will be enriched by collateral cultural moments: demonstrations of special types of ceramic firing and, under Brunelleschi’s loggia, educational workshops for children, guided by master ceramists.
