At Palazzo Colonna, in the heart of the capital, the investiture ceremony of Fondazione Altagamma's 2023 Honorary Members was held on Monday, May 15. This recognition, inaugurated in 2002 by Leonardo Ferragamo, welcomes into the prestigious Altagamma ecosystem women and men, companies and national and international institutions that have contributed to promoting Italian excellence and culture in the world. During the Altagamma Day "The 75 Years of the Senate and the Made in Italy of Excellence," the Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte became an Altagamma Honorary Member. Stefania Lazzaroni, director general of Altagamma, presents our work this way: "For about 30 years the Fondazione Cologni with its many activities and initiatives has been promoting Italian artistic craftsmanship, concretely supporting the entry of young talents into the world of high craftsmanship and with the recognition "MAM - Maestro d'Arte e Mestiere" - of which Altagamma is a partner - identifies and enhances the best masters of art in Italy. "Homo Faber," "Doppia Firma," and the "Mestieri d'Arte e Ricerche" series are just some of the projects that tell the story of our country's excellence. The Founder is a visionary, generous, motivating man of extreme refinement: we are talking about Franco Cologni." Collecting the icosahedron, symbol of Fondazione Altagamma, was Alberto Cavalli, general director of Fondazione Cologni. Our foundation thanks for this honor, which gratifies us so much, Altagamma in the persons of president Matteo Lunelli and general director Stefania Lazzaroni (altagamma.it).
