Scuola del Cuoio

The Scuola del Cuoio [school of leather] was founded in Florence in after the Second World War by the Gori and Casini families, leather artisans in Florence, and the monks from the monastery of Santa Croce. Today it still offers internationally recognised courses. In addition to this there is obviously the production as well: it is specialised in women’s handbags, but wallets, belts and jackets are also made. Each piece can be customised in terms of size, type of leather and finish. For over sixty years this tradition has continued in the same beautiful surroundings, that is the Santa Croce complex.
