Marco Ricciardi has been working with alabaster since his days at the Art Institute, when he began making his original candies. After his first workshop he participated in fairs, competitions and exhibitions. In 1985, he began a collaboration, which is still active, with the decorator Lucia Niccolini, with whom he opened Oasi's artistic handicraft store in 1992 (furniture objects, accessories, jewelry, sculptures...). In 2010, Marco Ricciardi presented with colleagues from Arteinbottega the Leaning Tower in Alabastro, one of the largest alabaster works of art in the world, for which he is the designer and coordinator of the works. Marco Ricciardi's works have appeared in authoritative journals and one of them is on display at the Alabaster Ecomuseum in Volterra.
