The Cooperativa Artieri Alabastro di Volterra (Volterra Alabaster Craftsmen Cooperative) was formed back in 1895, bringing together the most skilled craftsmen in the industry since its inception. And today it is the only structure that can boast the best existing workforce in the world of alabaster. Numerous and important are the national and international reviews in which the Cooperative has taken part during its long artisan activity, earning countless diplomas, medals and citations, just as the works executed by its members are sought after and appreciated worldwide.
