In the evocative space of the former Church of Santo Stefano al Ponte, now the Cathedral of the Image, theater of Arte Immersiva, the volume Gioielli a Firenze-Jewels in Florence was presented. Fratelli Peruzzi Archive 1880-1970, edited by Bianca Cappello, published by Livorno-based Sillabe Publishing House. Patient cataloging has returned drawings, plans, notes, photos, and samples of the jewelry-silverware firm founded in 1880 that document the artisan firm's activities in the Florentine and international context. The history of the Peruzzi family, protagonists of Florence's artistic and artisan affairs for nearly 150 years, illustrates the progressive evolution of the art of jewelry from the post-unification years to the artistic trends of the 20th century, between "Italian-style" tradition and international novelties.
