The exhibition of the Cominelli Foundation’s Permanent Collection opened in Padua at the Oratorio di San Rocco on March 3, 2016. The exhibition’s curators are Mirella Cisotto Nalon, Rita Marcangelo and Rosanna Padrini with the collaboration of Associazione Gioiello Contemporaneo AG. The Collection was curated by jewellery historian Bianca Cappello in 2011 and augmented in 2012 by Rita Marcangelo, the director of Rome’s Galleria Alternatives(www.alternatives.it). The Collection, which has been added to throughout the years, currently includes 75 pieces of jewellery from 25 countries, both European and non-European, and is now an international resource consulted by scholars in the field of creative and experimental jewellery design.
