EventsOn 17 January, the exhibitionArtigianato e Design(Craftsmanship and Design) will be inaugurated at the showroom of L'Idea di Maria Luisa Amatoriin Piazza dei Signori in Vicenza, where it will remain on view until 2 February. A true step into beauty, amidst the historic shops of the city center, in an ideal circular route around a site that is a symbol of craftsmanship and timeless design: the Basilica Palladiana. Twenty historical workshops will make space for the exhibition of products created by twenty artisan workshops from all over Italy. Objects combining innovation, design and artisan tradition, expressed through the use of different materials such as glass, paper, ceramics, iron and those of fine tailoring. A unique, different kind of itinerary conceived by CNA Veneto Ovest and realized under the artistic direction of Elena Agosti, former curator of the Museo della Ceramica in Nove. A special, very suggestive moment for the discovery of crafts reflecting a timeless tradition, but open to contemporary influences.
