Shaping Forms. Bronzes and Ceramics by Paolo Staccioli

02/04/2023 - 11/06/2023

Imposing bronze sculptures and solid ceramic vessels are the protagonists of the exhibition Plasmare le forme. Bronzi e ceramiche di Paolo Staccioli (Shaping Forms. Bronzes and Ceramics by Paolo Staccioli) that, in their modernity, evoke an indefinite and fantastic past that becomes real through the concreteness of a chariot, a boat, a horse: imposing steed or memory of a childhood game. Suggestive is the constant reference to Tuscan figurative art for the sharp contours, essential forms, and textural colors that recall medieval essentiality, the solidity of Renaissance architecture, and the charm of Etruscan sculpture. The technical expertise, acquired by Paolo Staccioli with the material, makes even more intriguing those figures, at the same time, compact and evanescent that stand out in the premises of Fortino Leopoldo I in Forte dei Marmi and in the elegant Villa Bertelli, where two sculptures will welcome the public until the end of September. until June 11, 2023, Wednesdays 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m.-1 p.m./ 3 p.m.-7 p.m. Tourist Office, Municipality of Forte dei Marmi Tel + 30 0584 280292 forteinfo@comunefdm.it Villa Bertelli Foundation Via G.
