EventsOwing to the generous contribution of the Cariplo Foundation, the Sforzesco Castle’s Decorative Arts Museum reopens to the public with a renewed setting and selection of the works of art on display. The Decorative Arts Museum showcases over 1,300 “ante litteram” design objects in ivory, metal, glass, ceramic and fabric, from the early Middle Ages to the Contemporary Age, which describe creativity applied to the everyday life of the upper classes, made in the major artistic centers in Italy, Europe and across the world. The objects can still be viewed in the original display cabinets made by the BBPR studio in 1963, to which, however, a new LED lighting system has been added. www.milanocastello.it
