With a dozen sections, “Printing Revolution, 1450-1500” features the evolution of printing in Europe over fifty years, with the presence of millions of books, not only for the elite, but for “everyone”, and a vast number for schools. During the event there will be workshops for adults and children and a typographic press from the Tipoteca Italiana, which allows the public to try the printing experience. What makes this exhibition innovative is the meeting of humanistic culture and scientific-technological knowledge: alongside the printed 15th-century books are hundreds of digital images from European and American libraries, making it possible to trace the circulation of the volumes.
