Porcelain. White gold from 18th century to contemporary production

During the Art deserves more space celebration, Museo Poldi Pezzoli proposes a series of initiatives dedicated to porcelain, with events for adults and for children. “After the success of the festival dedicated to clocks,” declares Annalisa Zanni, the museum director, “we wanted to continue our commitment to in-depth analysis with this focus on the history of porcelain, through different times that will help to discover the 18th century nucleus of the founder of the house-museum, the recent Zerilli-Marimò donation and, finally, contemporary production.”  This occasion includes a rich calendar of appointments: cocktails with the master craftsmen, conferences about the history of porcelain production, porcelain decoration workshops under the expert guidance of master Paola Carbone, realized with the support of the Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte and entertaining laboratories for kids.
