EventsExtended at the request of many artisans the deadline for entries to the "Souvenir of the Grand Tour" award, which slips from March 1 to March 22, 2024. The biennial prize is part of the many patronage actions carried out by Starhotels' La Grande Bellezza project, in collaboration with Fondazione Cologni, OMA-Osservtorio dei Mestieri d'Arte and Gruppo Editoriale. It will be possible to nominate one's work until March 22, 2024. The work must be freely created, contemporary, original. It is not required that the work be created from scratch. A special jury composed of very influential names and chaired by Starhotels will identify the 10 finalist works and the winner, who will receive a cash prize of 10,000 euros. There are many different types of objects related to the tradition of the territories, which can inspire evocative and interesting contemporary reworkings. Any technique and any material are allowed, as long as the workmanship is strictly manual or mostly manual, according to the criteria and methods of craftsmanship excellence, and the theme is respected, albeit interpreted in a free and personal way.
