EventsThe Ginori Museum, which as of 2019 is part of the "Fondazione Museo Archivio Richard Ginori della Manifattura di Doccia," is still closed to the public, but can be seen online, (museoginori.org), because it "already has so many stories to tell," not only as a place that preserves a vast artistic and archival heritage, but as a research center in a constant dialogue between the past, experimentation and the present. The site illustrates the history of the manufactory from the 18th century, which arose at the behest of Marquis Carlo Ginori, as well as subsequent events such as restorations, research, and exhibitions, up to the recent digitization process of more than 10,000 works including sculptures, drawings, wax models, tableware, as well as utilitarian products such as plaques for house numbers, electrical insulators, and vessels and instruments for chemical and pharmaceutical use: a well-articulated journey through art, craftsmanship, collecting, and everyday life.
