The title Mirabile industria. The Richard-Ginori Ceramic Company from 1896 to 1972 evokes the greatness and variety of the production of the Richard Ginori factory, active for almost a century, in the factories of Doccia (Sesto Fiorentino-Florence), San Cristoforo in Milan and Mondovì (Cuneo). The exhibition presents a chronological path that compares the different ceramic typologies, from earthenware to majolica and porcelain. The exhibition, which celebrates the first 10 years of the Mondovì Ceramics Museum, allows visitors to learn about the historical and productive heritage of the Piedmontese center, with solid ties to the local economy and its makers. It is also possible to visit the traces of the ceramic activity of the territory, once composed of 15 factories. The exhibition presents the works of designers who distinguished the art of the 20th century such as Gio Ponti, Giovanni Gariboldi and the artist Giuseppe Sciolli, from Mondovì, whose works are the object of renewed interest.
