Milano vetro

At the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, in the Sala della Balla is set up the exhibition "Milano Vetro", which can be visited until April 19. The works present are the 35 finalists of the "Milano Vetro" competition, organized by Castello Sforzesco in collaboration with the collector Sandro Pezzoli, who has always promoted initiatives related to this extraordinary material. The competition was attended by many young Italians and not, united by the passion for this fascinating and evocative craft. "Milano Vetro" intends to enhance the innovative use of glass both in art and contemporary design and the choice of the city of Milan and the Castello Sforzesco intends to reaffirm the historical continuity and the centrality of the Milanese capital in the creation and exhibition of glass works.
