Milano Grand Tour is a journey through Milan’s artistic craft shops. The new project by the Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte Foundation, along with tour operator Elesta Travel, offers tourists and locals alike the chance to choose out of five different tours through the best of Milan’s artisan production. Paper, leather, stringed instruments, metals and jewelry are the threads that connect some of the city’s applied arts museums (Poldi Pezzoli, Bagatti Valsecchi, Castello Sforzesco and Ambrosiana) to the local craft shops where know-how is born.
