Mario Bellini, a major international figure in the world of architecture and design, is the focus of an important in-depth study by the Fondazione Musei Civici of Venice on the occasion of the September Venice Glass Week. This great retrospective is the first exhibition focusing on his research on glass and presenting nearly all his glass projects. Color, shape and light: three elements that in Bellini's work interact and establish a dialogue without ever contrasting each other, but always developing innovative and contemporary solutions, with surprising outcomes. The halls present vases such as “Sogni infranti” ("Broken Dreams") and "Chimera," tables, artworks and an unusual large-scale use of glass.
