Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d'Arte, with the collaboration of ALMA, the International School of Italian Cuisine, has greatly encouraged and promoted the awarding of the MAM-Maestro d'Arte e Mestiere recognition, a tribute to top Italian Masters of Art, who operate in the various fields of artistic crafts. This biennial project (the next event will be held in 2018) aims to draw the attention of a wider public and of the media to the extraordinary work by the greatest Italian artisans. The first 2016 MAM event was marked by the introduction of the Golden Book of Italian Artisan Excellence, which includes the first 75 master artisans who have been awarded the recognition. The prize-giving ceremony was held on June 6, 2016, at Milan’s Triennale Museum in the reception hall full of people and in a very cheerful atmosphere. For further information, click here.
