From 8 to 14 April, during the week of the Salone del Mobile, at the Signorvino Wine Shop in Via Dante, you can discover handcrafted furnishings made by the young students of Cometa, in collaboration with the master craftsmen of the carpentry workshops of Contrada Erasmo. Cometa is a reality that originates in social commitment, a virtuous citadel in the heart of Como, dedicated to the reception, education and training of children and young people of the area often coming from contexts of fragility. On display are works that are not only design furnishings, but that tell the story of how expert hands have managed to revitalize waste materials. Unusual objects born from the recovery of various materials, such as the wood from barrels previously used in winemaking processes, old barriques colored by the years of sedimentation of aging wine.
