Events
On display in the House Museum belonging to Rodolfo Siviero are four precious sheets of glass painted in tempera on the reverse, dating to the mid-sixteenth century. They can be traced back to Venetian painting, with Levantine and transalpine influences, thanks to the circulation of engravings and drawings. The four pieces, purchased by Siviero in 1938, have been carefully restored, revealing the proportion between the intense and precious color with gold and silver leaf inserts, and the narrated scenes that, in a reduced space, had to evoke emotion and devotion.
