Homo Faber: your bespoke experience

10/04/2022 - 01/05/2022

From April 10 to May 1, Homo Faber is back in Venice! This year's theme is the relationship between Italy and Japan: the exhibition aims to show how for centuries these traditions, so distant geographically, are actually very close in culture and know-how. This year it will be possible not only to visit the 15 rooms set up in the evocative setting of the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, but also to immerse oneself in the timeless beauty of the Venetian artisan workshops thanks to "In città", the program that allows one to closely observe the work of many masters who, for the occasion, open the doors of their ateliers to tourists, experts or just the curious. Thanks to the application downloadable both for iOS and Android, it will be possible to create your own bespoke tour: from the purchase of tickets for the main exhibition (recommended action to avoid queues and because tickets sold on site will be limited), to the possibility of browsing the digital catalog where you can enjoy all the works on display, up to private visits. Special "packages" have been created ad hoc for different needs: from the pre-opening visit to guided group tours, to the possibility of spending half a day with the artisans. Everything there is to discover: visit the site. ph. Alessandra Chemollo ©Michelangelo Foundation
