It is now possible to make reservations to see this great event on excellence in European craftsmanship.: Homo Faber. Crafting a more human future, an initiative realized by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship in collaboration with the Cologni Foundation for the Mestieri d’Arte, the Giorgio Cini Foundation, the Triennale di Milano Design Museum and Fondation Bettencourt Schueller, with the specific aim of promoting and spreading the word about the work of the talented artisans who with enthusiasm, competence and dedication are attempting to revive a European renaissance of the applied arts. A cultural event of international importance that aims to show the best of contemporary and traditional metiers d’art, and their connection to the world of design. A journey to discover the great skill of these artisans through live demonstrations, but also with the help of the most sophisticated virtual-reality technology. A unique opportunity to listen to the opinions and experiences of craftsmen, by participating in a program of conferences and meetings on the theme of creativity and craftsmanship. Homo Faber avails itself of the collaboration of important, renown curators. These include: Michele De Lucchi, Silvana Annicchiarico, India Mahdavi, Judith Clark, Jean Blanchaert and Stefano Micelli, who - coordinated by Alberto Cavalli - will bring extraordinary creativity and energy to the exhibition.
