Until September 2, at the Vicenza Jewellery Museum, is the exhibition “Gio' Pomodoro's jewels: the line and the ornament”, an exhibition entirely dedicated to the production in gold of one of the leading artists on the twentieth century scene, moved by the modern concept of the "artist's jewel" as an accomplished work of art. A broad selection (over 60 pieces) of the Master's work, curated by Paola Stroppiana, with jewellery from private collections rarely accessible to the public. The precious pieces on exhibit cover a time span of almost half a century: from figurative to Informal to the geometrism of the 1970s, where the mechanical element is flanked by the use of colored glazes, up to the experiments of the 1990s with semi-precious stones.
