With foreword by Michele De Lucchi and introduction by Marco Romanelli, this bilingual book contains original documents from the Gastone Rinaldi Archives. Gastone Rinaldi was a famous and highly creative designer from Padua, a dear friend and collaborator of Ponti, Zanuso, De Lucchi, Mollino, Gardella, the leading names of Italian design. In addition to his furnishing objects, furniture pieces, beds and bookcases, the book shows the many chairs he designed for homes, workplaces, movie theatres and theatres. In 1954, Rinaldi was awarded the Compasso d’ Oro prize for his DU30 chair.
