EventsCraftsmanship is deeply rooted in Florence. Its history is so inextricably intertwined with that of the city in which it was born that it can be described as an ancient soul embracing contemporary genius. In this second edition of Firenze su misura, sixty master artisans describe, through six different fields of work - home décor, jewellery, leather, accessories, tailoring and perfumery -, all the facets of Florentine craftsmanship and the past, the present and the future of the city itself as well. A fascinating journey through tradition, manual skill and creativity by visiting age-old workshops, but also new workshops set up by young artisans who fell in love with the world of arts. An edition featuring a new design and content and published by Gruppo Editoriale with the collaboration of OMA, which, through stories and pictures, opened the doors of these temples of know-how to beauty lovers, showing the most iconic creations, specially selected for Firenze su misura, and the faces behind them.
