Festival Bluetrusco

Etruscan weaving workshops at the Bluetrusco Festival, the first devoted to Etruscan culture. From 13 to 30 July, at Murlo, in the Siena province. Murlo is a well-kept secret where traces of an Etruscan settlement have been found. An American university is currently carrying out archaeological digs on the site.  It is a very important discovery that will enhance to the collection of the Museo di Murlo, which preserves rare and exquisitely-decorated Etruscan roofs dating back to 3000 year ago. The dense calendar of events and activities to learn about this civilization also includes Etruscan weaving workshops held by Giulia Ciuoli. Info: bluetrusco.land
