To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the artist's birth, the Scanavino archive presents the exhibition Emilio Scanavino. This is Tomorrow and simultaneously inaugurates the new location. More than 60 works in glazed terracotta, as well as polychrome majolica, created by the Genoese artist between 1950 and 1970 at Manifattura Mazzotti in Albisola, a meeting place for artists, have been selected. The exhibition, whose title recalls an initiative held in 1956 in London, analyzes the artist's constant search for a new language that, on the one hand, is solid and material in form, and on the other, appears abstract, marked by graphic strokes that express the restlessness that transpires from motifs of archaic recall or anticipators of an indefinite future. info@archivioscanavino.it Piazza Aspromonte, 17 | 20131 Milano
