Eggcubism. L’arte a due dimensioni e mezzo

Enno de Kroon is a talented Dutch artist known for transforming ordinary materials such as cardboard into works of art. By using egg crates to paint human faces and figures or everyday life scenes, he produces a spectacular relief effect which breaks down the subject into its geometrical components like in cubist painting. Therefore, the artist describes his style as “Eggcubism”, for it is inspired by cubism, by bringing it to a nearly three-dimensional level.
