Day by day in painting. Federico Zeri and Milan

11/11/2021 - 07/03/2022

Until March 7, the Poldi Pezzoli Museum is hosting an exhibition dedicated to Federico Zeri, an important and recognized art historian of the 20th century. A free spirit and non-conformist, he left in his writings a wealth of knowledge, research, attributions, which are still today points of reference for those who study the history of Italian art. The exhibition, curated by Andrea Bacchi, director of the Fondazione Zeri in Bologna and Andrea Di Lorenzo, director of the Museo Ginori in Florence, investigates and reconstructs the complex and varied relationships woven over the years by the great connoisseur with Milanese institutions, museums and collectors, including the Museo Poldi Pezzoli, to which Zeri donated two paintings from his collection.
