Having reached its 27th edition, Cèramica, the International Ceramics Festival in Montelupo Fiorentino, will present an event celebrating the material that has characterized and still distinguishes the history and culture of this town in the province of Florence. Three days of events and initiatives promoted by the Municipality of Montelupo and Fondazione Museo Montelupo, ranging from art to craftsmanship, from ceramic industries to gastronomy. This year the theme chosen is "Rosso Fiorentino," a tribute to the color discovered and used since the sixteenth century by local craftsmen and artists: a particular, mysterious and evocative shade of red. For the second consecutive year, the event will host "Formae," an exhibition market of fine artistic craft products, in which 25 of the most talented potters and designers of Italy will exhibit their works.
