EventsLucca, a Tuscan city rich in history and culture since the Middle Ages, has always been one of the most important centres of paper production in Europe. Here, in 2004, Cartasia was born, an event which later became a biennial fair completely devoted displays of paper arts works. The promotion of the paper, its processing and tradition, has lead Cartasia to announce a competition for the next edition of the Biennial of Contemporary Art Fair. An exhibition inside the historic buildings of the city of Lucca will exhibit paper art works, both small and large. The exhibition will last a month and will be held in 2016 during the summer.
