Buongiorno Ceramica is the long weekend dedicated to Italian ceramics: three days to discover Italian production of artistic and artisan ceramics, from their antique traditions to their contemporary sensitivity. On 2, 3 and 4 June 2017, ceramics workshops, museums, studios and ateliers will hold extraordinary openings in 37 Italian cities to propose guided visits, expositions, kilns, laboratories, children’s activities and performances as well as meetings, music and food. It will be a mobilization of creativity and artisan know-how, an occasion to get to know ceramic artists personally and an opportunity to experiment with the creation of a work on a pottery wheel, to model and decorate an object of clay. Buongiorno Ceramica is a project promoted by the Italian Association of Ceramics Cities (AICC) and organized jointly by AICC together with Artex. www.buongiornoceramica.it
