The evocative spaces of London's botanical gardens, Kew Gardens, are embellished with brightly colored glass sculptures of flowers, plants, and glass trees created by the internationally renowned American artist, Dale Chihuly, with the grace and expressive power that distinguishes his works. Those glass works, of strong chromatic impact, are "naturally" inserted into the floral greenery of the London garden. The exhibition, entitled Reflections on Nature, on view until 27 October, presents imposing installations that emerge as plant totems, camouflaged in the natural setting to highlight the botanical analogy or, on the contrary, that stand out for their intense colors and the contrast between the transparency of glass and the solidity of the ground.
