The XXVII edition of ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO expands to Europe the BLOGS & CRAFTS contest aimed at young artisans and influencers. "BLOGS & CRAFTS Europe", this is the name of the special edition 2021 realized in collaboration with the prestigious World Crafts Council Europe, will allow 10 international artisans under 35 to participate for free in the next edition of ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO. The intent of the competition is to re-launch the Exhibition in a more interesting perspective for the new generations with an eye to the future and to the importance of the union between tradition and craftsmanship. The collaboration with World Crafts Council Europe will make it possible to welcome many young people with different experiences and roots, distinguished by the ability to intercept the signs of change with an aptitude for experimentation and innovation. The World Crafts Council Europe has embraced the philosophy of this project with great pleasure: the theme of the future of craftsmanship and therefore of support for new generations of producers is certainly a fundamental point and on the agenda of artistic craftsmanship on a national and international level. The winners of the contest will be selected by a special jury, composed among others by Elisa Guidi, president of World Crafts Council Europe, Jean Blanchaert, curator of Homo Faber, Stefania Ricci, director of Ferragamo Museum and Foundation, Elisabetta Fabri, CEO Starhotels. The "BLOGS & CRAFTS Europe" contest also includes the selection of a group of influencers who will be invited to Florence, hosted by Starhotels, to talk about the exhibition on their social channels. Finally, the collaboration of the Ferragamo Foundation is renewed, which will give the winners the opportunity to visit the archives of the historic company. The announcement and the participation forms can be downloaded on the website www.artiginatoeplazzo.it
