Registration for participation in the 5th edition of the Biennial International Competition dedicated to artistic and traditional ceramics will be open until 5 February 2018. This competition aims to stimulate research through the renewal of shapes and methods of expression in the context of ceramic production, by identifying decorative solutions that can successfully combine past and present through the reinterpretation of traditions, styles and decorations. This year's theme is the "Landscape": the artists, artisans and designers who will participate in the competition will be called to express innovative and avant-garde techniques through works in earthenware, stoneware, porcelain and majolica. The award ceremony will be held in Ascoli Piceno on 1 May 2018 during a meeting-debate in which the fifth edition of the catalogue “Tra Tradizione e Modernità" ("Between Tradition and Modernity") will be presented.
