Curated by Guido Beltramini, Davide Gasparotto and Giulio Manieri Elia, the exhibition highlights the contribution and influence of Classics on the birth of European culture and Venetian Renaissance by drawing a parallelism between the works by Manuzio, a great printer and humanist, and masterpieces by Giorgione, Tiziano, Bellini and Cima da Conegliano. The exhibition is promoted by the Committee for the 5th Centenary of the death of Aldo Manuzio and by the Ministry of National Heritage, Culture and Tourism with Venice’s Gallerie dell’Accademia.
