THE POOL NYC presents "A Journey with LINO TAGLIAPIETRA," the solo exhibition of Lino Tagliapietra, the world's leading contemporary glass artist. The Milan-based gallery, which has been dealing with Venetian glass for many years, also wants to highlight Tagliapietra's importance in the contemporary art scene. Glass is used by the artist in a totally innovative way, generating real sculptures with extraordinary shapes and textures. Tagliapietra's production reminds us of the profound link between artistic talent and mastery in gesture, between vision and absolute mastery of the techniques that have been handed down for centuries in the furnaces of Murano. The exhibition dedicated to Lino Tagliapietra aims to review the high points of his long career, while also highlighting the American teaching phase, crucial to the development of the American studio Glass Movement and a turning point for the artist's production. Endeavor opens the exhibition, taking the visitor inside the reflections of the lagoon, with floating boats and colorful reflections.
