Vanessa Cavallaro & C. Cristallerie di Altare

To Vanessa Cavallaro, before a trade, this is a family tradition. Her first teacher was her father, and even as a child Vanessa loved to watch him work, thus learning the rudiments of the glyptic art made with the lathe, later perfecting her technique with studies. An international artist, she produces works of engraving on glass and crystal, models of unmistakable style and faithful reproductions, created with a stone lathe, a technique dating back to Roman times, of which there are now rare traces in the world.
