A veritable glass chandelier artist, master glassmaker Luigi Fornasier started his glassworks over fifty years ago, and then handed down all his knowledge to his son Fabio, who combines his father’s technical skill and his own innate inquisitiveness which leads him to constantly research different shapes, volumes, colours and finishing details, experimental at times, designed to create one-of-a-kind works, extremely sophisticated in terms of workmanship, smoothly harmonious and amazingly original. Fabio Fornasier’s skill led to the creation of the Aria e Fuoco work and then to the iconic chandelier LU Murano collection. Tangible evidence that Murano’s age-old artisan techniques can be placed at the service of contemporary artistic creativity.
