Peromatto

A textile block printing workshop born from the passion of Giulia and Antonio that sinks its roots in the artisanal tradition of hand printing and “rust printing,” particular to the Romagna region of Italy. There is no lack of attention to respect for the environment and sustainable innovations, but the manual technique practiced is the same one that has been repeated for hundreds of years, and that starts from engraved wooden blocks which after being dipped in a natural coloring extracted from rust, are impressed by hand on fabric with the help of a heavy mallet, thus composing various designs one by one. This is how Giulia and Antonio create unique complements for the home and the table, but also clothing, bags and creations on the borderline between art and craftsmanship.
