In her workshop just steps away from the beautiful Duomo of Orvieto, ceramist Anna Spallaccia creates perfect and sophisticated replicas of items made in the area in the Middle Ages, in particular, between the 1200s and 1300s: plates, glasses, jugs, vases, cups decorated with subjects (kings and queens, animals, acanthus…) and colors (manganese and copper green) typical of Orvieto. In addition to these limited collections, Anna creates made to order pieces with personalized decorations, along with more artistic works, such as sculptures and pieces of jewelry crafted by using the ancient Etruscan technique called bucchero in a contemporary version.
