La Casa della Scarpa was established in 1961 by Achille and Salvatore Orgallo, as a shoe and leather repair shop. The core business is still artisan repairs but when Lorenzo, Salvatore’s son, joined his father a few years ago, the shop came to specialize in the production of made-to-measure wooden shoes, strictly made by hand with first-choice materials: lime or ayous, light but durable woods and Italian skins, which Lorenzo himself dyes. A top-quality product, which can be personalized down to the smallest detail.
