Il Bottegaccio di Daddiego Mario & C.

Mario Daddiego is a skilled craftsman and an expert in various techniques, first and foremost, ceramics and paper art. Since childhood he has been using and experimenting with these mediums, and has also taught them for more than 10 years. The specialty of his shop in the heart of Matera? Typical local traditional ceramics, but also paper maché statues and nativity scenes that are shown the world over in prestigious places. He has worked with a number of renowned artists, and received both Italian and international awards, such as first place at the “100 nativity scenes” International Exhibition of 2014.
