Carmelina Raco

After more than twenty years’ experience in international high-end tailoring, in 2019 Carmelina Raco opened her own atelier in one of Milan’s historic neighbourhoods, on the Naviglio Grande canal, where she creates bespoke garments based on the construction and techniques of fine men’s tailoring. Inspired by the elegance and aesthetic rigour of the best artisan tradition and by her own creative freedom, Carmelina deconstructs men’s outerwear, liberating it from conventional patterns and elevating it to universal style. In addition to men’s suits, smoking jackets, Ulster coats and Paltos, she also creates elegant women’s tailleurs.
