“Bahuaus Barocco”: only a few places still available!

A free course for the creation of the Palazzo Litta brand: enrolment is open until Saturday 4 February for the "Bauhaus Barocco" workshop, devised for the MiC Lombardy Regional Secretariat and entrusted to the CorsiArte training body with the collaboration of Chiara Gatti, art historian, journalist and CorsiArte lecturer, and the scientific care of the essayist architect Maddalena D'Alfonso. The initiative is part of the broader context of the enhancement of Palazzo Litta as part of the activities of Fondazione Cologni, which is financing the project. The workshop, whose ultimate goal is the creation of a Brand Book of Palazzo Litta, aims at the study and research on the iconic Milanese palace in order to arrive at the design of a graphic image that develops its paradigmatic stylistic elements, applicable to furnishings and fittings, communication, graphics, and artisan collections of excellence. The Workshop will be held at Palazzo Litta in Corso Magenta in Milan. It will last approximately 25 hours and will be developed over three days of seminars (21 February, 15 and 16 March), with CorsiArte lecturers specialised in the history of decorative arts and Visiting Professors from the design field (designers, architects, artists, set designers, photographers), and with masters of fine craftsmanship, for knowledge of artistic techniques applied to materials, to open up to possible reinterpretations in a contemporary key. Participation is limited and reserved for under-35s: graduates, students and undergraduates of two-year specialisation courses (architecture, fine arts, communication, design, etc.), PhD students and researchers from universities (architecture, fine arts, communication, design, etc.), members of professional associations (Ordine Architetti, Adi, Aiap, Aipi, etc.). An opportunity not to be missed! www.corsiarte.it
